MIG welding is a versatile and fast turnaround method that can be used on a broad range of materials and thicknesses and easily automated for high volume and repeat fabrications. It uses a spool of continuously fed wire meaning high quality welds can be produced much faster. Since MIG uses a shielding gas there is very little loss of alloying elements and only minor weld spatter is produced reducing clean up time when compared to stick welding. At Belvoir Engineering Services our team of highly skilled fabrication engineers are able to undertake the development of very complex fabrications, from detailed drawings.
